Senior Artist Marco Louis

With a background in fine arts and fashion design, and a career spanning nearly 10 years at MAC Cosmetics, Marco Louis has a key understanding of the industry and a diverse skill set which he applies to his work; from runways and editorials around the world, to one-on-one appointments with customers in store.

As the Global Senior Artist for MAC in Africa, he is responsible for creating the theatre of artistry at Fashion Weeks and industry events across the continent. With all the time he has spent in Southern Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Uganda and Ivory Coast and recently in Senegal and Tanzania, he is an expert in speaking to the latest makeup trends around the continent and in demonstrating advanced application techniques for a diverse clientele.

His experience extends abroad where he has worked backstage for multiple seasons at New York, London, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks; some of his most memorable moments playing out at shows for Oscar De La Renta, Carolina Herrera, Jeremy Scott and Desigual, to name a few.
